Officer Reports:

• No report on club finances
• ASUI is shutting down all stuorg websites
  • New procedure is to register through an advisor
  • We will continue to use a Wikidot Wiki
  • We will also register a new uidaho website to point to it
• Events & workshops structure
  • Watch calendar for new workshop dates/times!
  • Let us know if you're doing something cool in the shack

New Business:

ARES Training on September 18th.

• Workshop to Learn Message Handling
• Meeting at 7:00pm @ Dennys in Pullman

VAST Balloon Launch on September 20th.

• Contact Matthew Vavrosky if you're interested
• It looks like 3-4 people are interested
• We need more operators to help with:
  • APRS Tracking
  • FM Voice Comms

Spokane Ham Fest on September 27th.

• We should plan a trip & get ASUI reimbursement
• Contact Cliff if you want to go
• Also testing is available for upgrading!

Tower Upgrades

• Talking with Mike Meehan
  • RFQ on new guy wiring & turn buckles
  • May include pulleys to hoist antennas
  • Mike had our rotor fixed/replaced last year
• Fixed sloper antenna
  • Came loose during wind storm

Old Business:

ASUI Funding from last semester

• We got a few new things for portable operation
  • Absorbed glass matt (AGM) battery
  • Anderson PowerPole wire connectors
  • RigRunner 12v PowerPole Panel
