Misc. Ham Shack Project Ideas

• Ham Shack Antenna Cabling
  • Mr. Meehan will look into getting a plate machined to place SO-239 connectors
  • We have large flexible coax in the shack to use as patch cable to the plate
• Ground Rod Maintenance
  • No comment
• Antenna Coax Tracing Round 2
  • Probably not a good winter project :(
  • Try to find an existing cable to use w/ VHF omni antenna
    • There are at least 2 cables that we can't identify the antennas for
• New Smoke Stacks - New Antennas?
  • The smokestack is near the field of the TH7 yagi
  • What kind of wire antennas can we get between the stacks?
    • Again, not a good winter project

  • It would be a fun time to be on HF and learn the equipment

Workshops

• Satellite communications workshop
  • We can work AO-51 one weekend with our hand-held yagis/quads
  • Will look into passes to find a decent weekend to do this
    • No guarantees on the weather conditions though
